Invitation to participate in research

Stigma about having a family member with a mental health issue(s) can lead to negative thoughts, emotions and behaviours.

A study from Victoria University invites siblings of people diagnosed with mental health issues to participate in research, to find out more about the impact of family stigma. This will improve public understanding of sibling experiences and potentially improve interventions, to help strengthen siblings as individuals and family members.

This study has been approved by Victoria University Human Research Ethics Committee and is under the supervision of Professor Jenny Sharples from the College of Health and Biomedicine.

Please help us if you are aged 18 years or above by completing an anonymous online survey that will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
